As a Senior Wastewater Treatment Engineer (PE), you will have the opportunity to balance your marketing relationships with your ability to lead and grow a local delivery team while receiving the support from firmwide resources.

We’ll count on you to:
Lead the growth and development of our wastewater treatment practice throughout the firm Develop new relationships to expand our client base and strengthen relationships through commitment to quality and client service Attend and present at professional conferences that support our growth goals Work with and manage multi-disciplinary technical teams (Murraysmithers and subconsultants) Manage work programs, project schedules, and budgets Guide our talented mid
– to junior-level staff
Desired Skills and Experience:
Project management experience, including developing scopes of work, reviewing invoices, and managing client communications Managing municipal and public-sector projects (state, county, city and federal) Project experience with wastewater and treatment Ability to lead, train, motivate, and work within a team Ability to develop productive, long-term relationships and communicate with clients, peers, multi-discipline teams, and management
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, , Master’s preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon or Washington state, or the ability to obtain reciprocity upon employment Minimum of 15 years relevant engineering experience Client contacts and experience working in the Pacific Northwest Strong technical and marketing background Active participation in local wastewater industry associations Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
