Join a dynamic, growing team that offers healthcare providers an array of medical technology solutions that make a difference in patients’ lives.Position SummaryManage and control the global supply of purchased finished goods (PFG’s) from our outsource supply partners into the Teleflex Distribution Centre (DC) Warehouses. Work with the Director of External Manufacturing to ensure sufficient growth capacity is in place with our supply partners to achieve future growth objectives with an adaptive, scalable Demand and Fulfilment model.Principal Responsibilities* Analyse relevant supply chains for potential backorders.* Evaluate fiancial impact of any potential backorders.* Ensure sufficient capacity is in place with the Supply Chain to meet projected product growth.* Manage inventory in the Distribution Centres in line with Global inventory targets.* Develop a forecast versus demand analysis tool with each of the outsource supply partners.* Expedite deliveries from relevant outsource supply partners when necessary.* Review spikes in demand and investigate reasons for same.* Work with Q/A and R/A departments to ensure suppliers are compliant in all quality and regulatory requirements.* Track shipments from the suppliers’ dispatch to the DC’s and ensuring correct receiving in the DC’s, also working with Accounts Payable on invoice queries and receipts.* Manage country related regulatory requirements with the DC and other Demand Planning functions.* Control excess and obsolescence in the suppliers by working with R&D and Q/A on ECO management.* Manage supplier releases with the Q/A team.* Lead the weekly/monthly Supplier meetings with each of the key outsource supply partners.* Support the Director of External manufacturing on driving supplier cost savings opportunities* Support the R&D function on new product developments.* Manage systems to maintain records of product distribution.* Develop and implement supplier scorecards and conduct supplier quarterly reviews with key suppliers.Education / Experience Requirements* 5-7 year’s experience in Supply Planning or related discipline.* Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).* Experience in Global Supply Chain Networks and Supply Process ex suppliers to DC’s* International experience working cross borders and cross function.* Attention to detail and accuracy – essential.* Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure* Problem solving skills for developing creative solutions and meeting objectives are required.* Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and directly, both verbally and in writing, to a widely varied audience.* Excellent organizational and analytical skills* Outstanding computer skills including MRP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and the Internet.* Highly competent with Operations and Supply Chain functionality of ERP systems like SAP Business OneSpecialized Skills / Other RequirementsKey Relationships / Interfaces: Include all interrelationships* Outsource Supply Partners and Distribution Centre* Q/A and R/A Team* R&D Engineering* Demand Planning OrganizationBehaviours / Values:* Self starter* Hands on person* Strong skill set to manage relationships. i.e. manufacturing and supply chain* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work additional hours if required.* Ability to creatively solve issues and apply sound business judgment.* Strong customer service orientation.* Ability to function equally well independently and as part of a team.* Must have ability to complete multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure in a fast-paced environment.* Must be able to adapt to a changing environment and identify/solve problems efficientlyTeleflex, Inc. is an affirmative action & equal opportunity employer.
