Freddie Mac has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager within Single Family Securitization in the Information Technology Division.

The role will provide guidance and oversight to various medium and high complexity projects.
As a senior member of the IT team, the Individual would lead the solution delivery of a project and champion technology improvements and delivery processes.
Prior experience working with GSEs, understanding of Credit Risk Transfer and the Securitization process is desirable.
Your Work Falls into Three Primary Categories: Project Management Work with the team to identify opportunities for efficiency in project planning and execution to provide the business with solutions at the lowest cost while balancing risk appropriately.
Creating detailed estimates to ensure that they are reasonable and aligned to historical norms where applicable.
Defining structure and resource needs for development teams and aligns resources to the project team.
Ensuring that development practices (e.g.
code reviews, unit testing, etc.) are followed through the project life-cycle.
Reviewing project plans and status and rapidly mobilize resources to address risks and issues in the development space.
Engaging collaboratively with the Test team to define appropriate test strategies and plans for projects.
Working with business partners to understand requirement needs and challenging the team to create inspiring solutions.
Leadership & Partnership Able to lead junior and mid-level developers in technology delivery.
Strive to constantly improve the application development processes and tools.
Good communication and ability to convey technology solutions to business.
Proactive with customer satisfaction as primary goal Familiarity with Mortgage Industry.
Partner with business operations to understand the securitization processes and lead software solutions Transformation to Modern Delivery Understand and lead the team to embrace modern delivery best practices Encourage innovative solutions using modern delivery tools Qualifications Qualifications 5-8 years of technical project management experience Bachelor’s degree is required (preferred if in Management and/or Technology disciplines) Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Strong presentation skills Strong Project Management Skills Ability to navigate, minimize and remove risk Must be able to support multiple concurrent high priority projects while concurrently ensuring high quality production support PMP certification and Scrum certification desirable Should be skilled at RFP/Proposal work Vendor Management Knowledge of Credit Risk Transfer, Secondary Mortgage Market and Securitization Keys to Success in this Role Manage multiple projects simultaneously within the budget and schedule Build trusted relationship with the business Intellectual agility and interpersonal flexibility Strong consultation and communication skills Ability to use data to help inform strategy and direction Preferred Skills Preferred Skills Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
