Senior Project Engineer

Senior Project Engineer needed for a full-time opportunity in Lancaster, PA. The candidate with the right stuff will manage the acquisition, installation, and start-up of new capital equipment to support manufacturing, product development, and process improvement. Responsibilities Designdevelopment, produce and qualify new products Lead all engineering and technical aspects of a project Participate in the creation and improvement of the Capital Equipment Acquisition (CEA) Process. Hands-on work in test lab to support quality, development tests, post life analysis and equipment maintenance and design Create detailed engineering test reports and presentations Create and maintain resource plan, projecttask management tool, budget and timelines Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project leader and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support Create engineering documentation including drawings, bill of materials, technical specifications, work instructions, standardsprocedures and checklists Exchange product, technical and manufacturing experience with team members and provide regular updates on projects Qualifications BS – Mechanical Engineering BSME Minimum 5 years of experience Managed and mentored junior engineers Must have experience managing capital acquisitions projects, including projects involving custom engineered equipment Skills Mechanical design experience Project engineering -Project management training or certification preferred Six Sigma training – Six Sigma belt preferred 3D CAD software Project ManagementPMP (3 years of experience is preferred)
