This position works closely with all members of the Operations management team towards achieving delivery performance goals and objectives. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of production ERP systems are required, as the position will interact daily with area managers, engineer, production planner, and other production team members as appropriate. Daily responsibilities include the coordination of production plans, tracking operations performance, processing work order needs, shipping, receiving and other production support activities as required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain daily production schedules based on planner input and availability of materials.
• Prepares production work orders by preparing shop floor documentation and pulling materials from
inventory.
• Prints in house label requirements for work orders.
• Receipt of work orders and reconciliation of materials for production work orders.
• Receiving of purchased materials.
• Packing and Shipping activities (International and domestic).
• Maintain proper floor stock.
• Monitor the flow of jobs through Production and partner with Production to ensure work complete in time to
schedule. Updates the various areas schedules as needed.
• Coordinate inventory cycle count and perform transactions in ERP system.
• Makes inventory adjustments, process scrap and RTV.
• Resolve part discrepancies.
• Support Operations needs as requested. This may include ordering of supplies and services (SRM)

Expected Areas of Competence
Must be a self-starter with ability to complete tasks with minimal instructions
Must demonstrate good planning skills to organize prioritize and balance workload
Excellent communication skills
Superior levels of accuracy, and good sense of urgency
Expert knowledge of ERP Production System (JD Edwards preferred), and Microsoft Office applications

Education/Experience Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree, Certified Program or advanced training in production planning or scheduling strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years prior experience working in a similar capacity in a manufacturing setting.
