– Remote**Location :** USVRTL**Business Unit Sector :** COR-BECIO-CIO**Opportunity Type :** Staff**Relocation eligible :** No**Full time/Part time :** Full-Time**Project Only Hire :** No**Visa Sponsorship Available:** No**Job Summary**Black & Veatch is seeking a **Senior Product Owner, ServiceNow Platform** to lead the ongoing build out of their **_ServiceNow platform._** This includes ITSM, ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Service Graph Connectors, and Cloud Management), ITBM and DevOps, Security Operations, and Asset Management.
This role will be responsible for ensuring maximum value is delivered via the NOW platform as the company executes their digital business transformation.
This role will require the individual to be not only an advocate and mentor to the ServiceNow development team, Configuration Control Board (CCB), and overall IT Operating Model but also understand digital business concepts and strategies as new digital offerings are envisioned**Key Responsibilities**+ Advanced comprehension of Agile software development practices, tools and templates often associated with Scrum and Kanban+ Ability to develop/encourage a continual learning mindset throughout the ServiceNow team, ITIL process and service owners as well as various IT and business stakeholders, including internal and external service providers and geographically dispersed virtual feature and product teams+ Lead the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and assist in improving and maturing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) via the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)+ Experience with leading or creating and maintaining API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and the major cloud service providers, enterprise management platforms, and other legacy systems+ Experience leveraging MID Servers for integration and automation.
Collaborate with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades+ Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflows, policies, actions, access control, interfaces and any other configurations required to support client processes+ Work with various IT teams to identify ServiceNow automation and integration opportunities to improve the existing state of IT operations+ Work with various IT development teams to provide education on API integration opportunities to establish ServiceNow as a standard platform for service automation+ Navigate a multi-vendor outsourced environment, including 100% remote external and offshore resources.
Champion the ServiceNow Strategic Steering Committee+ Understand and articulate Value Stream Management (VSM) concepts that relate to the transition from project to product+ Diverse IT background and experience in infrastructure, end-user computing, and service management, including the concept of Enterprise Service Management+ Provide execution guidance to the PMO on the delivery of complex products+ Produce and deliver strategic technology presentations for Business leadership, IT leadership, and technology vendors+ Able to demonstrate basic understanding of public cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and Google**Preferred Qualifications**+ Experience in EPC industry preferred+ Understanding of a broad range of technologies at the architecture level and at a business process/impact level These include but are not limited to core network technologies, systems for enterprise work process, end-user computing, data management and cloud-based computing+ Must also be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to executives and general audiences+ Project to Product adoption+ Vendor Management+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills+ Proven track record in strategic technology planning, budgeting, execution and policy development+ Leadership orientation and respect for discretion.
Must be able to build consensus**Minimum Qualifications****_Education:_** Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of overall experience in IT or software development
•**_Experience:_** Maintaining the NOW platform functions, ITSM processes, custom or scoped app development, and ability to keep pace with the ServiceNow roadmap.
