About the role

We are looking for a Senior Internal Ops Associate to support our talent and facilities function.

Reporting to the VP of HR, you will support the day-to-day operations of Pangea’s HQ and be responsible for ensuring that Pangea’s employee experience is exceptional from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cultivating company culture, excellent attention to detail, and a desire to build a career in HR.

As Senior Internal Operations Associate, you’ll get to:

  • Coordinate recruiting-related activities including applicant tracking system (ATS) maintenance, external job posting, interview coordination, and timely candidate communication.
  • Onboard and Offboard employees
    – you will ensure employees are set up for success from day one and execute offboarding tasks when they leave.
  • Perform administrative transactions, audits, and data maintenance of data in Pangea’s HRIS, benefits, payroll, and other related systems.
  • Support immigration sponsorship activities including communication with Pangea’s immigration team and fulfilling requirements in the sponsorship management platform (Envoy).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least two years of experience in human resources and/or workplace operations.A bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills at all levels (junior through C-suite).

    You can effectively interact with a diverse set of stakeholders.

  • An adaptive personality.

    You can multitask and prioritize with little to no supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated exceptional judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with basic IT tasks including setting up and troubleshooting laptops, meeting devices, and other office equipment.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in a startup and/or financial services company.
  • Familiarity with IL labor law.
  • Experience maintaining HRIS (BambooHR), payroll (Gusto), ATS (Lever), or other HR platforms.
