Job Summary Amentum has an opportunity for a highly qualified Senior Intelligence Analyst to provide real-time operational support, research, analysis, technology insertion and assessments in support of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). * Have extensive experience conducting intelligence analysis or collection management in the USINDOPACOM AOR. Background: USINDOPACOM requires agile and innovative services tailored to address the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and USINDOPACOM Commander’s requirement to deter threats and provide unambiguous understanding of the operational environment. The demands associated with a global threat and a dynamic geo-political security environment requires strategic and operational intelligence analysis to identify threats and gaps in capabilities then develop solutions to address those gaps. This project will support the J8 directorate with research and analysis of theater capability gaps for USINDOPACOM and its subordinate Component Commands. You will provide intelligence analysis to include operational risk assessment, strategic planning assessments, and assessment of threats to OPLANS and the Theater Campaign Plan objectives. You will conduct research and prepare analytical products, briefing documents, decision papers and related materials on various topics supporting recent, ongoing or new capability development. You’ll also assist with production and implementation of comprehensive, long-term, fully integrated Department of Defense (DoD) strategies and the application of innovative approaches for national security and theater peace and stability. You will perform the following specific tasks: * Advise J8 staff on intelligence findings and analysis related to high priority threats using various statistical measurements and recommended software tools, to prove or disprove assumptions and hypotheses related to operational gaps and adversary threats.
* Provide support for implementing, maintaining, and operating data analysis tools, data archiving, and retrieval of network and derived data.
* Provide USINDOPACOM with planning, analysis, innovation, and concept development of capabilities that will address operational and intelligence gaps in the Indo-Pacific AOR.
* Develop written products such as talking points, information papers, and oral presentations for Command leadership.
* Develop classified and unclassified intelligence studies as needed. Here at Amentum, we believe in fostering a sense of belonging. Minimum Requirements * At least 10 years of combined experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD)
* At least 5 years of experience performing intelligence analysis and/or collection management
* Knowledge of USINDOPACOM and national-level agency processes, procedures, and requirements in order to integrate stakeholders with INDOPACOM efforts and outcomes
* Knowledge of and experience with intelligence tools used to identify and process data leading to a greater understanding of threats against the US and partner nations
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in order to provide information and operations support to USINDOPACOM personnel
* Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
* Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen
* Must have an active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility after your start date Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree
* At least 3 years of experience working in the USINDOPACOM AOR
* Experience working with the Intelligence Community (IC)
