Senior Integration Engineer – Remote

Position Description:

• Performs software  installation and configuration for company’s applications and ensures high quality technical development of product deployments for NICE Systems customers.
• Involved with direct interaction with customers to understand their business data in order to design and implement creative solutions to integrate the data with the NICE Performance Management Application.
• Designs and develops end-user functionality such as  ETL data mapping,  forms, workflows and reports for customer implementations.
• Implement custom deployments of the NICE  product suite for  customers .
• Integrate NICEs applications with other enterprise systems and data sources using ETL, XML, and scripting languages ( Shell, Perl, Python) .
• Work with other NICE Integration Engineers to share best practices and knowledge .
• Provide input to NICE’s Product Management group on how to enhance future products.
• Flexible work schedule  may be require d depending on project needs

Required Experience/Skills:

Requires a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or a directly related field plus a minimum of 5 years of related software implementation experience.

Experience must include some amount of:

• Leading, designing and developing Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes, using structured software development methods
• Conducting ETL unit and functional testing, monitoring results and taking corrective action.
• Integration experience with enterprise software (J2EE)
• Demonstrated knowledge of data handling and SQL
• Experience with both relational and dimensional data modelin g
• Experience with MS SQL Server Databases, Oracle or other  relevant RDBMS
• Experience with open  source-based technology stack and scripting technologies (Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Apache ActiveMQ, MULE  ESB , Liferay) required
• Demonstrated proficiency with Linux and Windows command-line
• Experience with  data visualization software (Tableau) as bonus
   

Will accept a Master’s degree plus three (3) years of described experience

Travel Requirement:

10% travel required for onsite customer visits for discovery and internal travel for training. Some international travel may be required. (in line with COVID guidelines and policies)
