The Opportunity
The “Sr Engineer – Cyber Security”
– Cyber Security Technology
– CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) works closely with members of the IPRM in a highly collaborative environment using cutting edge IAM technologies to build safe, modern and secure methods to authenticate customers, improve the customer experience and verify critical transactions across products and channels.
This role reports to the Director of Customer Identity and Access Management as a member of a CIAM Agile development squad.
Specifically, this position is responsible for implementing new Authentication and Authorization capabilities to provide our customers with a secure and innovative world class experience as a market leading digital first organization.
The Work Itself
Provides significant contributions in the design, coding/configuration, testing, support and debugging of new software, enhancements to existing software and configurations of COTS packages
Partners with product owners and business contacts to solicit requirements.
Collaborates with other developers and provides technical direction to solve business client questions, problems, and to address enhancement needs.
Ability to lead the development of technically complex new functionality, and work with other team members and business partners to deliver value through working software.
Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies.
Work with Security teams to tune control systems to best meet the need of the business.
Ability to identify security risks and work with IPRM team to report and lead the remediation efforts.
Provide expert level troubleshooting for supported technologies.
Encourages and supports others to perform their jobs more effectively (e.g., provides advice, tools and/or resources).
Communicates clearly and in a manner that conveys credibility and confidence that he/she will deliver on the customer needs.
Identifies opportunities or problems and acts quickly and decisively to respond to the situation.

The Skills You Bring
3+ years of experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant field of study preferred, or equivalent experience.
Specific knowledge of IAM platforms such as Transmit Security, Radiant Logic, ForgeRock, Okta, and Broadcom/CA IDM, Directory, SiteMinder, Access Gateway is highly preferred.
Demonstrable experience in IAM is required and Customer IAM experience is beneficial.
Ability to clearly communicate and effectively participate in Agile ceremonies is required.
Experience presenting sprint demos is desirable.
Experience with complex systems integrations, high availability solutions, highly performant systems, and meeting rigorous SLAs.
DevSecOps, Container deployments, Automation, and Cloud deployment pattern experience is a plus.
Knowledge of current security threats, techniques, and landscape, as well as a dedicated and self-driven desire to research current information security landscape.
Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, C++, and/or C# experience.
Hands on Cloud experience with AWS console experience is preferred.
Hands on experience with Apigee, Jenkins, Terraform, Jira, Confluence is desirable.
A pragmatic approach to balancing the ideal solution with delivery commitments.
Modern mature API design and development is valuable.
Experience in leading technical teams on projects and resolving incidents.
Excellent data analysis skills using standard office tools are required.
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required.
A strong attention to detail.
Ability to interact with personnel at all levels across the organization and to comprehend business imperatives.
A strong customer/client focus with ability to manage expectations appropriately and provide superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships.
CISSP, CISM or CISA preferred.
