About This Position As a Senior Data Analyst on the Data Analytics team, you will take on an important role..

You will be focused on analyzing data to drive business impact and understanding, working closely with the COO, Operations and Product Management teams.

You will contribute to building models and maintaining data environments.

You will also be asked to perform analyses on various aspects of Alyce’s business and operations and present findings to key stakeholders within the company.

You will be responsible for using SQL, dbt, Looker, and/or Amplitude in order to combine data to address business questions, forecast needs, and predict outcomes.

You will work inside these teams to empower their domain knowledge with your analytical expertise to address a wide variety of questions.

You will also work closely with the Data Science & Engineering teams as these groups work to build and improve Alyce’s analytical data capabilities.

How you’ll make Alyce amazing: * This is a cross functional role that requires framing business problems, maintaining data needed for analysis, synthesizing results and making recommendations to the executive team and other leaders in various departments* Proactively seek out trends and create analysis frameworks to effectively answer strategic questions* Typical business issues will involve framing and solving problems around areas such as general business operations, operational efficiency and forecasting, drivers of churn and customer retention, product engagement, etc.* Build data models in a structured data warehouse using SQL and dbt* Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to address business needs using LookML and Looker* Experience with ETL tools like Fivetran; Airflow experience a plus, but not required* Thoroughly understand the needs of the business, and product and operations teams* Document data as you use it, informing and disseminating it to the company* Version control your work using git * Form opinions on tools, products, and processes Alyce should adopt to accomplish analytics needs What skills you will bring to Alyce: * Intermediate to expert proficiency with SQL for analytics and data modeling* Experience with snowflake/star data schemas and a solid understanding of data modeling for data warehouses* Familiarity with dbt, Looker, BigQuery, Amplitude, and Airflow, or similar tools (Mode, Sisense, ChartIO, etc.)* Experience with Git for source control * Experience working with product, business, or operations (primarily billing and fulfillment) teams in an analytics capacity* You are quantitative and curious.

You enjoy finding creative technical solutions to hard problems and are structured in your thinking.* Someone who is very curious about what makes a business / operation function successful* Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
