DATA & ANALYTICS TEAM

Immuta’s Data & Analytics team is charged with accelerating Immuta’s impact through data.

To enable this, the team delivers novel data products that span the customer lifecycle, and they enable self-service analytics to the entire company through a central data platform.

The team is highly collaborative: one month, they might work closely with the Customer Success team to understand customer problem sets, while the next month, they are implementing a scalable product analytics suite.

The team is also committed to being an innovation center around the implementation of the Immuta data platform, and to sharing best practices in data governance and operations throughout the organization and beyond.

In short, the Data & Analytics team strives to make data at Immuta valuable, trustworthy, and accessible, and to help Immuta’s customers do the same.

SENIOR DATA ANALYST

The Senior Data Analyst will drive the business forward with insights across multiple functional domains.

Develop quantitative analyses to inform business decisions, providing teams with the tools to measure their impact and hold themselves accountable.

They will help frame and transform business unknowns into measurable outcomes.

They will work tightly with Immuta’s data platform team to ensure that self-service data assets are aligned with business needs, and they will become experts on the platform to deliver high impact data products, including dashboards, presentations and strategic analysis.

YOU WILL:

*Become a go-to analytics expert on multiple domains at the company
– Help bridge the gap between understanding business needs and knowing how to design efficient, usable data models

*Work across all lines of business to understand and address data needs

*Help define the data and analytics strategy and technical direction, advocate for best practices, and investigate new technologies

*Provide mentorship to data consumers across multiple functional areas

You are the right fit if you deeply believe that the ability to quickly deliver meaningful analyses built on top of clean, consistent data is a massive competitive advantage and one of the most powerful forms of leverage in business — from improving operational efficiency to informing strategic initiatives.

Our ideal candidate:

*Can break down complex problems into answerable questions

*Has 3+ years experience in an analytical role, ideally in a high-growth SaaS company

*Is nerdy about data and data visualization

*Has a deep expertise in SQL: aggregation/window/time functions, complex joins/subqueries/CTEs, efficient and reusable views hierarchies/infrastructure

*Is an expert in at least 1 BI tool such as Looker, Mode, Tableau, or Metabase

*Can work autonomously and safely on production systems

*Is able to communicate clearly & concisely with internal and external stakeholders of varying levels of data literacy and expertise
