At Morgan Stanley, data drives our decision-making.
As part of the client analytics team, you will use data to inform and support business decisions for all departments within Morgan Stanley At Work.
Using your technical skills, business acumen, and creativity, you will analyze data and generate insight that will allow us to quickly and accurately see how our key business products and processes are performing.
You’ll be involved in projects from inception to delivery, ensuring that your reporting delivers high-quality and relevant data to intelligently grow our business.
Responsibilities:
– Create actionable, informative summaries from a variety of data sources
– Utilize data from multiple data sources while maintaining data integrity
– Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
– Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
– Locate and define new process improvement / automation opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS
Functional/Technical Qualifications:
– Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, reporting and forecasting and robust and action driven analysis.
– Strong analysis skills, forecasting, and unstructured modeling.
Ability to understand and identify opportunities to apply the different types of statistics and analytical concepts.
– Ability to execute multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities with limited direction.
– Ability to identify critical tasks, sequence work, prioritize, identify dependencies and decisions needed to achieve an end deliverable.
– Works effectively both independently and in a team environment.
– Ability to communicate complex ideas to business partners and leadership using verbal, written, and presentation skills.
– Experience with data analysis software and advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required including working ability to utilize pivot tables, advanced charting, advanced formulas, and conditional formatting
– Experience managing projects from end to end.
Education:
– Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Data Science
– Relevant work experience will be considered
– 3-5+ years work experience
Depth of Knowledge:
– Consulting, Business Intelligence and/or Analytics experience is preferred.
– Financial Services industry experience is a plus.

Salary range for the position: $80,000
– 120,000/Yr.
The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
