Position Summary:

A Signal 88 Roving Patrol Officer will conduct security services on courtyards, offices, pools, and other high value areas to ensure all required access points are properly secured and to ensure protection of property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to details and safety.

Responsibilities:

Will conduct and deliver Dedicated services that reflect the company’s values, expectations and consistent service in alignment with site expectations/post orders.
Will write detailed and accurate reports during each shift that serves Client needs and concerns.
Interacting with internal and external personnel on site and promptly report any information that may impact the relationship of the Client to their direct supervisor, the Site Lead Officer or the Dedicated (Site) Supervisor.
Responsible for the care of any S88 equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards and devices, etc.
Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by direct Supervisor such as reporting standards and service quality.
Communicate with direct Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through daily huddles, such as the Client needs through post orders to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

Requirements:

21 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
Pass background investigation
Pass drug test
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Ability to work overnights
Complete training modules within first month
Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
Works collaboratively and supports efforts of team members
Ability to conform to established procedures and to help identify and solve problems
Ability to get along with other employees, follow directions, work under stress, add value and continuously improve
Demonstrates a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
May not have been convicted of a felony, sexual offense, or crime that questions honesty and integrity
Must meet and maintain qualifications set and approved by the Maryland State Police within 90 days of hire.
