We are seeking a Product Strategist at the Associate level to join our Product Strategy team in San Francisco within the Global Securities Lending business.

The Product Strategy team plays a critical role in the Securities Lending business by working directly with BlackRock’s clients and key partners to help enhance understanding of the securities lending market, as well as helping drive the future direction of BlackRock’s Securities Lending business.

The successful candidate with help us achieve this mission through close collaboration with our clients, colleagues and partners across the firm..

What will you be doing?.

Provide quantitative and qualitative analyses to assist the securities lending business and our clients.

Work with data and technology to help interpret trends, build reporting and craft commentary for clients and internal teams.

Use coding skills to enhance daily processes and help drive future innovations in the lending business.

Lead and collaborate on data analytic projects, both independently and in partnership with other teams.

Utilize writing skills to respond to client and consultant queries and RFPs, as well as producing market talking points and commentaries.

Create and design marketing content and presentation materials for internal and external audiences, including client account reviews and pitches.

Collaborate with sales channels, portfolio management and strategy teams, as well as other internal partners to provide One BlackRock client service.

What are we looking for?.

Role can be either full time or part time and associates generally have a minimum of two years of experience.

University degree and a clear passion for BlackRock and financial markets.

Practical experience with programming languages such as SQL and Python.

Analytical individual who enjoys working closely with data, technology, and other people, and is also comfortable pursuing new ways to solve problems.

Good interpersonal skills and someone that enjoys building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, colleagues and partners across the organization.
