We are looking for an experienced team member to lead coordination with government sponsors, components developers, and additional integration partners to shape, plan, and implement operational integration tests.
The position offers the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of program software systems and environments.
The successful candidate will be asked to plan, conceive, and manage the software engineering-based testing methodologies for a Test Plan Working Group (TPWG).
The selected applicant will be able to develop knowledge/understanding of the complete, distributed ground system, related technologies, and new approaches, to achieve the TPWG testing and collaboration goals.
The selected candidate will be responsible for facilitating system understanding through test development, aligning to interface controls as well as functional requirements at a system level.
You will have the opportunity to provide leadership and critical review of activities and will be asked to iteratively improve the design and evaluation of processes for the TPWG.
Primary Responsibilities * Lead, plan and coordinate test events with various participants.
* Architect system level tests * Ensure the test environment is ready * Ensure the ground system components under test are ready * Ensure the test cases meet the test objectives, demonstrate the interface per the controls, and link to closure on functional requirements * Inspect the test cases in test management software * Work with component SME’s to develop test cases, gather test data, and document specific steps to support the test * Implement tests & track results: * Work with developers and their sponsors to implement the test * Record results and defects in test management and deficiency tools Qualifications We Require * Master’s Degree in a STEM field * 5 years formal Satellite Systems / Software Environment experience * Current DOE Q clearance holder and can obtain a SCI security clearance Qualifications We Desire * Experience in satellite ground system programs * Experience in leading and presenting topics for software and hardware projects * Experience with traditional on-prem server environments * Experience with cloud-based technologies * Experience using TestRail or a similar test management tool * Experience with using JIRA for deficiency and bug management * Experience building consistent, repeatable documentation templates and status using Confluence * Experience using AGILE methodology About Our Team We have system engineering and system integration and test responsibilities for large, satellite ground system which is being developed to support high consequence national assets which support nonproliferation and national security missions.
