Our goal is to run efficiently as a team and ensure support to all team members in order to deliver effectively in a deadline-oriented environment.WHAT YOU’LL DO: POSITION TITLE: SAP Global Sponsorships iXp Intern – Activation CoordinatorLOCATION: Hudson Yards New York, New YorkEXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: June 6th, 2022 – June 5th, 2023 IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:
– Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day suite operations with MetLife, NHL, Madison Square Garden, and Yankees
– Manage usage of contractual assets i.e.
player appearances, signed merchandise, logo usage
– Order food & beverage for all suites and track associated budget
– Work with respective venues to ensure suite upkeep
– Order branded inventory (jelly beans, mints, napkins, etc.)
– Host and maintain customer and executive experiences at MetLife, Madison Square Garden, and Yankee Stadium
– Support with property team scheduling needs
– Manage the employee host program across all New York-based venue partners
– Distribute over 20,000 tickets annually, across North and Latin America
– Create custom templates for over 1,500 annual sponsorship events across North and Latin American
– Report customer attendance at all sponsorships events (daily)
– Work with the employee engagement teams (most frequently Life@HudsonYards) to utilize sponsorship assets to improve employee participation in the office; host and planning annual sponsorships employee engagement opportunities
– Manage relationship with new ticket vendor GETS (the system used to invite, report, and send tickets to customers)
– Train new users from the North and Latin American regions on the tool
– Troubleshoot and communicate any user issues from North or Latin America with GETS
– Align with regional activation teams on best practices for guest communications, ticket distribution, reporting, and employee engagement opportunities
– Act as a liaison with the compliance team to ensure all processes are properly documented and updated when needed
– Responsible for maintaining and curating relevant content for the GST internal website and digital library
– Update internal documentation trackers including story and activation calendar and property manager update wiki for weekly review WHO YOU ARE: We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious.
You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. SKILLS / COMPETENCIES
– Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Suite including Photoshop
– Language skills: Fluent in English
– Soft skills: Organized, detailed driven, responsive, and able to multi-task in a timely manner, strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate, strong work ethic and positive attitude EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
– Current student at a university or recent graduate – preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Sports & Entertainment, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, & related fields – but MUST have the ability to support this role full-time.
