You can enjoy golfing under the midnight sun, hiking, biking, fishing, skiing and other popular outdoor activities a short distance from home.Registered Nurse- Step-Down Monitored Overflow Unit: Full- Days 7a-7pMOU is a 19 bed stepdown telemetry unit that monitors progressive care and non-ventilated critical care patients. The progressive care population consists of respiratory, renal, metabolic, cardiac and neurological patients. Types of ICU patients commonly cared for on MOU are those requiring continuous infusions of medications for alcohol withdrawal, cardiac arrhythmias, hypotension and diabetic ketoacidosis. This is the recommended unit to start in for nurses who have a strong interest in Critical Care Nursing. Nurses from MOU are sometimes floated into the ICU to backfill staffing. The nurse to patient ratio for progressive care patients is 4:1 while the critical care patients are 2:1.
