Job Descriptionn n The Cardiopulmonary Unit in the IHVI at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is hiring a full time RN Grad Fellow
– Day/Night rotation.n We are seeking New Grads who can begin in Feb/March timeframe.n n Inova’s mission is to provide world-class healthcare – every time, every touch – to each person in every community we have the privilege to serve.n nThe Cardiopulmonary Unit (also known as 4 South) is a unique 24 bed cardiopulmonary unit with all private, negative pressure rooms equipped with continuous 100% bedside and oxygen monitoring .

Each room has all the tools necessary to provide safe and seamless care to our patients.

We are fast paced and dedicated to providing excellent care though teamwork, clear communication and advocacy.n nOur unit consists of a multidisciplinary team which includes Registered Nurses, Clinical Technicians, Unit Secretary, Respiratory Therapist, dedicated Hospitalist and Pulmonologist to provide efficient care to our community.n nThe high acuity patient population is supported by a 3:1 patient ratio for RN’s , 6:1 ratio for CT and a charge nurse out of staffing on every shift.n nInova Fairfax Hospital is proud to announce that the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) awarded Magnet ® designation, the most prestigious accolade for nursing excellence, to our hospital in December 2020.
