RN – Cath Lab PRN On Call Requirements

HighPoint – Sumner Regional Medical Center

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in the Cath Lab

***Must be available within 30 minutes to meet call requirements

Reports to:  Manager – Cath Lab

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education
Associate’s degree in Nursing or RN diploma – Required

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing – Preferred

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.

Required Skills
Certifications:
BLS certification from approved American Heart Association training center must be current upon hire. ACLS certification from approved American Heart Association training center must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Required Skills
Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure – Required

Minimum Work Experience
2 years hospital nursing experience – Required
Cardiovascular, Critical Care experience – Preferred.
