– wide approach to continuous regulatory readiness Chairs the Continuous Survey Readiness Committee Communicates relevant changes to standards Prepares PIC reports and/or presentations Coordinates educational materials/ presentations for committee members Coordinates the planning and execution of the TJC annual intra-cycle monitoring Conducts tracer activity within the hospital and the clinic setting Plans, develops, and conducts educational programs on accreditation for employees Facilitate mock surveys and assists in the development of plans for improvement Prepares survey specific documentation as requested by regulatory agencies Participates in on-site surveys, including coordination of agendas, coordination of scribes, communication with surveyors and on-site staff, and communication of preliminary findings Facilitates the development of corrective action plans as part of post-survey activities Qualifications What You Will Need: BSN degree required RN GA license required Minimum one year experience with teaching/leading evidence-based project preferred Minimum 3 years RN experience in an acute care setting Previous experience in Quality, Risk Management, Accreditation preferred Job Summary: The Accreditation/ Risk Management Coordinator serves as a member of the Quality Management Department.
This position leads regulatory survey readiness program planning.
Coordinates survey activities, i.e.
The Joint Commission (TJC) and CMS Validation Surveys.
This position leads the Risk Management functions.
These actives include complying with regulatory standards, coordinating the Loss Prevention program activities which includes occurrence reporting, investigation and analysis, tracking, trending and reporting of events.
This position works closely with the Corporate Claims manager, interfacing with defense counsel, and conducting education programs to reduce risk.
These individual functions on their own initiative in compliance with policies and procedures prescribed by the Quality and Risk Management Director.
