Description
Essential Duties & Functions:
Assists with insurance renewals, including gathering and compiling exposure information, marketing preparation, proof of insurance documentation distribution, premium invoicing, billing allocation and auditing
Assists with day-to-day risk management activities, including claims review/filing and management, coordination of FMLA, worker compensation and return to work
Requests Certificates of Insurance and Bonds as needed
Supports monthly Risk Management Information System reconciliations
Supports monthly Workers Compensation and Auto billing review
Prepares reports and analysis of varying components of the risk program including but not limited to workers compensation trending reports, auto claims trending reports, deductible/SIR spend year over year, Total Cost of Risk
Performs oversight of record keeping and tracking tasks associated with functions regarding entering of incident/accident reporting.
Assists with the creation and maintenance of Risk Management Department systems, to include record retention as well as policy and procedure process development
Review contract documents for consistency and adherence to templates and/or policies to include HSE provisions
Assists with the development of transactional documents and resolutions
Monitors outside counsel e-billing and matter management system for new and aging invoices; also provide reports from the system as requested
Organizes and maintains corporate books of CCH Corporate and all operating entities for internal and external audits
Coordinates internal litigation support, such as discovery documents, as needed
Addresses CCH operating entities requests for legal support
Performs other duties as assigned
Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):
Mandatory
Associate degree in risk management, business , legal, or related field or three (3) years of equivalent work experience in risk, safety or legal field
Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation or willingness to work toward obtaining the CRM designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education
Knowledge of risk management industry matters, claims management, ethics, and common practices
Demonstrated knowledge of Risk Management Information Systems software
Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite such as Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as database programs
Current valid state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Ability to successfully pass any background check and/or drug test as required
