Rink Attendant

JOB TITLE: Rink Attendant/Zamboni Operator Location: Ben Boeke/Dempsey Anderson Ice Arenas Position: Part-Time Hourly Salary Range: $11.00 per hour Definition: This osition provides support for the operation of the facilities’ utilities and support systems.

This position performs general maintenance to building, fixtures and equipment and assists with conversions when necessary.

Supervision Received & Exercised: This position reports to the Building Manager and/or Operations Director and supervises crews as assigned for special projects.

Tasks: *Operates zamboni, ice edger & blade machine *Provides guidance and technical expertise *Supervises crews on special projects of equipment/building maintenance as assigned *Maintains in-house ice, to ensure its readiess for use *Inspects the facilities & equipment on a regular basis, to ensure the safety of Arena personnel & patrons Minimum Requirements: *Ability to understand & complete oral & written instruction *Ability to work at heights above eight (8) feet *High school diploma desirable *Valid Alaska Driver’s License Note The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
