Ruby Receptionists

This is a Full-time position in Phoenix, AZ posted January 21, 2022.

Overview

The Revenue Analyst in the Revenue Operations Team will be driven by a curiosity to better understand how to scale Ruby and better support our customers.

With expertise in identifying and communicating data-driven insights, you will support all Revenue Team leaders and others to make more informed, strategic decisions as we accelerate growth.

A successful candidate considers their work in a larger context within the Ruby organization as well as various external market factors.

This role will consist of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics with a focus on surfacing insights and trends directly related to revenue generation and retention.

The Revenue Analyst will work within the Revenue Operations Team and will closely collaborate with Ruby’s Sales, Marketing, Partnership, and Customer Success Teams to build and manage measurable key performance indicators designed to support achievement of revenue objectives.

With a strong business understanding and analytical skills, we will work with the right candidate to build competencies over time to meet the needs of the business.

This position will report to the Director of Revenue Strategy and can be located from one of our offices in Portland, OR or Kansas City, MO metro area, or full remote (state-dependent).

What You’ll Be Accountable For
Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
Analyze sales and marketing lead and customer data from multiple input sources including but not limited to Salesforce, HubSpot, RingDNA, Google Analytics, and Snowflake.
Prepare reports for Revenue & Executive Team leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
Collaborate with revenue operations leaders and the business intelligence department to identify opportunities for process improvements and system modifications.
Create documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate if necessary.
Monitor Revenue Team compliance with required standards for maintaining optimal data hygiene.
Assist revenue ops team members in creation and validation of daily use reports and dashboards and then hand off ongoing maintenance.
In conjunction with revenue team leaders, design, develop, and deploy reporting and dashboards to measure agreed upon KPIs.
Own and maintain all revenue team KPI charts and slides for Extended Leadership Team and Revenue Team all hands monthly meetings.
Calculate sales commissions each month in accordance with Sales compensation plans.

Your Background
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or relevant work experience preferred.
1-3 years as an analyst in a B2B model.
Introductory statistical modeling and analysis skills.
Basic understanding of Salesforce schema and use of Snowflake (or other data warehouse platforms) preferred.
Proficiency in SQL and Excel is required for in-depth analysis and data visualization.
Experience with Looker (Data Visualization), Python, and Machine Learning a plus.
Work Environment

Work can take place either in an open office setting or remote.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible and regular full-time schedule.

This position requires the ability to sit/stand and work at a computer for extended periods of time, and communicate effectively with a diverse audience in person, by phone and by computer.
