The Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for working with residents needing restorative nursing measures to gain or to maintain their highest possible and practicable level of functioning.He or sheprovides direct care to nursing home residents, in accordance with restorative nursing policies and procedures.Provides direct restorative care as assigned, completing work accurately, safely, and in a timely manner. Specific care may include: passive and active ROM, ambulation, special positioning techniques, splints, assistive feeding devices/adaptive equipment, ADL training, bowel, and bladder management, restorative dining, bladder retraining.Receives specific instructions from formalized therapies when the functions are beyond the basic restorative nursing scope and receives supervision for these tasks from the indicated formalized therapy discipline.May help with resident care on occasion while performing restorative nursing tasks.This person isresponsible for providing consistency between the therapy provided by the therapists and follow-through by nursing on a daily basis.

Every other weekend and holiday required
