Responsibilities include cooking, cleaning, assisting residents in daily activities and driving.

Some overnights and weekends are required.

HS diploma, clean driving record and background check are mandatory.

– Provide day-to-day care for residents including general supervision of residents, cooking, serving food, cleaning the homes, limited personal care, laundry, supervision of self-administering medications, transportation to doctor’s appointments, meetings/outings and leading activitiesnn nn
– Take part in day-to day operation of the facility including answering the phone, welcoming visitors, assisting caseworkers, nurses and other staff, receiving mail, running errands, keeping the facility organized and comfortablenn nn
– Monitor resident’s physical and mental well-being, communicate any changes to the supervisor on callnn nn
– Organize and lead a self-improvement groups, or activities for residents, and monitor their outcomesnn nn
– Advocate on behalf of the resident, and uphold the Resident’s Rightsnn nn n nn nnStarting wage is between $10.00 to $11.00 based on experience.nn nnNewbridge provides 3% Simple IRA match, time and a half pay on holidays, and short term disability coverage.nn nn nn
