Position Summary

The Receiving Inspection Level 1 is responsible for supporting the Companys quality initiatives by performing visual and basic dimensional inspections.

In addition, documentation reviews are performed to ensure product compliance with quality standards in the following areas:
Receiving inspection Inspection for acceptance (pre-shipment).

The Receiving Coordinator reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor with close working relationship with the Quality Department Team.

The Receiving Coordinator Level 1 is part of a workgroup and is trained and mentored by Level 2 and Level 3 Quality Inspectors .

The position is located in Red Wing, MN at Central Research Laboratories.

Key Job Functions included but not limited to:

Receiving Inspection: Process incoming receiving inspection using dimensional, visual, and document reviews for compliance to CRL prints.

Product Delivery: Deliver all inspected products to inventory location.

Shop Support: Support shop personnel as requested with inspection activities and assist with internal nonconformance investigations.

Document all support on the appropriate traceability forms.

Communication: Communicate to others within the company on a daily basis using verbal and written communications.

CRL utilizes standard Microsoft Office products

Quality Improvement: Work with CRL machinists, assemblers, and vendors to improve product quality.

Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dock.

Remove shipping materials from products and discard in appropriate bins.
