Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.Job Summary:Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) and Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Engineering is responsible for all aspects of RAM/FRACAS activity within Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD). As a RAM/FRACAS Engineer you’ll ensure performance compliance according to both customer and internal requirements.Responsibilities to Anticipate:This position will be responsible for:* Performing FRACAS tasks, including trend analysis and failure investigations* Assessing RAM performance: MTBF, MTBCF, Ao* Defining / allocating RAM requirements* Performing Reliability Predictions* Performing Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA)* Supporting Reliability Test Planning and Execution: Accelerated, Growth, DemonstrationThis position can be a Salary Grade G08 or a Salary Grade G09 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.An advanced degree can be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Master’s is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.Qualifications You Must Have:Education: BS Degree in a STEM discipline or a BA in Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science or PhysicsEmployment Experience:* 4+ years’ related engineering experience* Experience with reliability analysis or FRACAS* The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
