RESPONSIBILITIESI. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:• Performs a variety of radiologic procedures.• Provides patient care during procedures.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:• Essential: standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking; lifting usual weight of 50 pounds; pushing/pulling usual weight of 50 pounds; carrying usual weight of 20 pounds.• Continuous: stooping/bending; reaching above and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object, pushing/pulling usual weight up to 50 pounds.• Frequent: twisting body, lifting usual weight with assistance up to 50 pounds; carrying up to 40 pounds; reaching at shoulders, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods of time.• Occasional: sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting.• Operates x-ray equipment, computer and printer, fax machine, surgical supplies and equipment, film cassettes, film processors.III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:• Exposed to both inside and outside environmental conditions; cold temperatures due to the air conditioning.• Subjected to noise/vibration from film processors.• Exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous anesthetic agents, body fluids, wastes, electrical and radiation energy, mechanical/electrical units, chemicals and radiation.IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.• Registered Technologist with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).• Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist.• CurrentBLS/HCP certification.B.
