Required Education and/or Experience:

• Oregon LXMO or ARRT. Certifications required upon hire
• Experience in a medical office setting, 1 year preferred

Pay and Benefits:

• $18-$28.50+ per hour DOE

What we need: We are currently seeking energetic, driven, and team-oriented Radiologic Technicians (ARRT). The candidate will have good communication skills, attention to detail, and a focus on high-quality patient care. The job entails compassionately assisting our patients and supporting our providers in order to serve our patients with both exceptional and efficient medical care.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: The duties will be performed in accordance with policy and procedure, the standard of care, and in accordance with state certification. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform x-rays on specific body parts as ordered by the physician
• Correctly position patient, aiding in adjusting the body and equipment to capture accurate imaging
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to both self and patient by following correct techniques with patient shielding
• Ensure all related reports and imaging information is filed and available in patients’ electronic medical records
• Maintain radiology supplies and inventory by checking stock and alerting the manager when more supplies need to be ordered

Secondary Functions: When not performing X-rays, you will be assisting with Medical Front Desk Reception duties such as:

• Greeting and acknowledging patients as they enter with a warm, friendly demeanor
• Answering phone calls and assisting patients over the phone or routing as needed
• Registering patients to include: Collection and verification of insurance, collection of payments, appropriately following our patient reminder process
• Receiving patient payments for self-pay services or co-pays as stated by the insurance verification
• Incoming faxes, packages, mail, and emails and handling with the appropriate action
