n n nnIn business since 2000, LanceSoft is a nationally certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) that has established itself as a pioneer in providing highly scalable, cost-effective workforce solutions to a diverse set of customers across various industries in the United States.nn nJob Descriptionn nnThe Supply Chain Quality Management team is looking for a self-driven individual to perform hands on testing of various FiOS Equipment including Set-Top Boxes, Broadband Home Routers and Optical Network Terminals.

The role will ultimately be a key stakeholder who provides recommendation for test changes required prior to new product launches and for the lifecycle of current products.

nThe person shall have the strong ability to positively impact Supply Chain metrics such as Returns and Repair, NTF, bounce rate etc.

Scope is to significantly improve OEM and 3PL product quality.

nThe candidate is expected to: n
• Perform testing and full lifecycle support of FiOS products (STB, ONT, BHR) n
• Develop and/or enhance existing lab test architecture including equipment procuring & setups n
• Designing test measurement techniques to characterize critical test parameters n
• Review & contribute to product test documentation and design documentation n
• Establish lab test setups with limited information n
• Provide test support to replicate customer experienced failure, track and troubleshoot issues and help drive solutions n
• Applying best practices and contributing to the ongoing improvement of lab test procedures n
• Support Quality Management team on lab studies and other quality assignments n
• Provide clear and concise results of all testing to management team n
• Manage and facilitate the movement of Verizon products that require quality control testing to be performed n
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

nCandidate skills & knowledge are expected to include the following: n
• Understand how to troubleshoot using OSI model n
• Experience with Home Networking and Fiber Optics products n
• Ability to use test equipment such as spectrum analyzer, MPEG analyzers, oscilloscope, RF signal meters n
• Desire to succeed and to do things right the first time n
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills n
• Good understanding of verification test plans, test execution, results collaboration and bug reporting n
• Basic understanding of hardware concepts n
• GPON & MoCA Experience n
• Electronics experience (Communication Signals and Circuits, Digital Transmission Techniques) n
• Video experience (Digital Video Systems, Video Compression Technology, Video Output & Signaling) n nn nn Education & Experience: n
• Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Technology n
• 1-3+ years of testing and troubleshooting experience in consumer CPE (Routers, Set-Top Boxes, etc.) n
• Accredited certifications in Electronics Technologyn nn nQualificationsn nn
• Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Technology n
