– put our expertise to work for you!Objective of the PositionTo assist the Quality department through product measurement and verification, data collection and material tracking.Accountabilities
• Provide dimensional assistance through inspection using blueprints, engineering standards, and specifications.
• Collect and review material for conformity to drawings
• Conduct material movements in system and within the warehouse per disposition
• Assist Operations with in-line inspection
• Support: Engineering, Purchasing and Quality with measurement competence
• Create and maintain nonconforming material reports
• Ability to use: calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, profilometer, height gages and other measurement devices
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• Use of SAP considered a plusRequirements:Education/Experience: High School graduate, or general education degree (GED); Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
