HOPCo manages physician practices, hospital service lines, population health and value-based care programs, and musculoskeletal delivery networks.HOPCo is the managing partner of Arizona-based entities, CORE Institute, Northern Arizona Orthopaedics, CORE Institute Specialty Hospital, Michigan-based CORE Institute, and Florida-based Southeast Orthopedic Specialists.As HOPCo continues to grow, we are looking for a Quality Data Analystin our Corporate Headquarters.Please see below for the functions and requirements for this position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEffectively and efficiently extract data and develop reports.Provide analysis of complex healthcare data.Understand and improve analytical tools to collect and understand data, validating models, and supporting the delivery of solutions.Prepare and deliver succinct, clear, and insightful and influential executive-level presentations.Assess Quality initiatives and develop timeline for execution on initiatives.Collaborate with other leaders in the organization to ensure Quality initiatives are developed with coordination of other organization initiatives.Assist with education as it relates to Quality initiatives.Assist business partners with reports including scorecards and target setting.Participate and assist in continuous process improvements.Assess Quality reported data, connect with and partner on improvement initiatives.Maintains strict confidentiality.EDUCATIONMaster’s degree in informatics, healthcare administration, or equivalent degree.EXPERIENCE1-2 years of healthcare related training.Data extraction and database queries.KNOWLEDGEStrong understanding of database structure and data extraction.Gathering and integrating data from disparate sources.Working knowledge of healthcare industry and procedures/practices.Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel (i.e.
complex data merging and graphing)SKILLSGathering and integrating data from disparate sources.Analyzing data to discover discrepancies and patterns.Presenting and explaining information to non-technical audiences.Strong interpersonal and customer-focused communication.ABILITIESProven ability to accomplish a large volume of high quality work under pressure.Work independently and consistently meet or exceed performance expectations.Self-starter: demonstrated ability to succeed despite complexity or incomplete information.
