As a member of the JBT team, you will find that you are joining a world class organization with an entrepreneurial work environment and innovative spirit.We have an immediate opportunity for a Quality Assurance Inspector.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:This position will perform in-process fabrication examinations as per ASME requirements, as well as coordinate third party inspections as needed.Duties/Responsibilities:* Performs in-process fabrication examinations including but not limited to ASME BPE, B31.3, ASME Section 8, 3-A Standards and customer specifications and document examinations.* Interprets including but not limited to ASME BPE, B31.3, ASME Section 8, 3-A Standards, customer specification, fabrication drawings, calculations, and weld procedures.* Verifies documentation for projects and correctly turned over to documentation department for assembly of the “Customer Turn over Package”.* Coordinates and organizes and schedule third party inspections as needed.* Writes Weld Procedures, Quality SOPs.* Performs Duties as assigned by SupervisorQualificationsEducation & Experience:At least 5 – 7 years experience in welding and fabrication of ASME Section VIII pressure vessels, 3-A Sanitary tanks and piping, BPE pharmaceutical tanks and piping, and B31.3 Process piping are required. A thorough understanding and ability to use all Microsoft Word and Excel applications is a definite plus. Must display strong listening, planning, organization and negotiation and presentation skills; as well demonstrate the ability to read a tape measure, calipers and micrometers.This is a service-orientated position.
