QA Lead, HR Systems

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted January 5, 2022.

Inspire Brands is looking for QA Lead, HR Systems.

As part of the HR Systems Delivery team, this position is responsible for software and data testing design, planning, automated scripting, and execution for a variety of key business facing and internal applications, integrations and databases.

The QA Test Lead will work closely with developers, data engineers, scrum masters, product owners and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test sprints, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution.

The individual should have a strong understanding of SDLC processes, QA life cycle, Workday HCM, and Workday Financial Integration with Oracle

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create use cases, user stories, functional specifications, diagrams and technical documentation as needed to articulate requirements
  • Participate in technical meetings between wide array of individuals of QA, business, Dev teams, Managers, BA and other project related team members
  • Work on multiple projects/initiatives across multiple applications daily and collaborate with manual, automation functional and non-functional teams
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute system and user acceptance testing, as well as provide leadership of testing resources
  • Define scope and deliverables for assignment with ‘stakeholders’ and deliver assignment in accordance with agreed scope, time, financial and quality measures

EDUCATION AND WORK QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four year degree with an Information Technology focus
  • 10 years of total testing experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Lead QE
  • 5 years of testing experience in data/ Workday HCM and Workday Financials along with Oracle Financials

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Strong organizational and test management skills in cross functional environments
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills will ability to communicate – verbal, written, and presentation skills – at all levels, across multiple functions, and drive participation and collaboration.

    Demonstrated ability in working with key executives and stakeholders to solve and drive business outcomes

  • Experience in business model or process improvements, with understanding of digital ways of working preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Enjoys seeing impact of work in the organization, highly motivated and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Maverick approach to work, sense of humor, and Intellectual curiosity with a passion for technology, analytics, digital and ways of working trends
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams (Automation, Performance and Restaurant Functionality QA)
  • Experience in X-Ray Test Management Tool preferred along with similar tools like ALM and Azure Test Manager
  • Responsible for testing data moved from Legacy Systems like Oracle EBS , My Micros, Infor, Ultipro,, multiple third party systems
  • Profile setups as part of the system configuration.
  • Loading the customer, contact and transaction files in the system by running the interface programs.
  • Hands on testing experience in the following areas of workday:
    Personnel and Organization Mgmt : Configure Supervisory Organization, Locations, Job Family, Job Profile and Benefit Plan
    Compensation : Compensation package, compensation grade, and compensation plan
    Business Process : Hire/ Rehire Action, Approval, Approval Chain and Checklist
    Security : Security roles and groups to the requirement level of confidentiality
    Custom Reports : Simple and Advance reports, calculated fields
  • End–to
    – End System Integration Testing (SIT): verify that the components of the solution, both standard functionality and custom components (including Reports, Interfaces and Enhancements), operate together in a single environment successfully and as expected.
  • Hands on experience in Workday functional areas: Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Absence Management and Payroll.
  • Hands on experience in integrating Workday and Oracle Cloud
