Propane Tank Installer

Dupuis Energy is looking for a Propane Tank Installer to join our expanding team.

This position requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, Customer Service and Teamwork.

The key responsibility of the Propane Tank Installer will be to: deliver; set and install propane tanks, inside and outside lines; conduct system tests and purge cylinders/tanks consistent with company standards and maintaining related documentation.?

Position Responsibilities

?

Drive a flatbed boom truck for delivering and installing propane (LP-Gas) tanks.

?

Install and pressure test gas service lines to make sure system passes all state & local installation/permit
requirements.

?

Perform repairs and adjustments on propane equipment.

?

Examine regulators, gas lines and appliance connections for possible defects or gas leaks.

?

Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.

?

Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from Operations Manager.

?

Purges propane cylinders and tanks, fills storage containers, and performs basic outside leak repair.

?

Properly secures truck and equipment consistent with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

?

Applicants should have a strong mechanical background preferably in propane or natural gas piping, oil
heat, HVAC or appliance maintenance.

?

Ability to pass pre-employment background check, DOT physical and drug test.

?

CETP training a plus.

?

Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement, and a DOT medical card a plus.
