Project Engineer – Rail & Transit

The time is right to join HNTB HNTB is currently seeking a Project Engineer Rail/Transit to join our expanding Track Group in the Maryland and DC Area.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning and distribution of rail/transit projects and adherence to the scope, budget, and time schedules on projects.
Primary Focus Will Include: Responsible for completion of discipline engineering project elements such as reports, designs, specifications and plans.
Responsible for coordination and productivity of subordinates.
Provides technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
Works closely with other disciplines and multi-discipline projects.
Performs other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications and Skills Professional Engineer in Maryland or ability to obtain within one year Microstation Inroads/Inrail WHAT YOULL NEED Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements within budget and schedule.
Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work.
Guides team to overall project objectives.
Serves as technical liaison with client at staff level for work within the discipline.
Assists with project management duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering 6 years relevant experience
