Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Project Engineer 4 in Los Alamos, NM.

Once acclimated and with management approval, can be 50/50 hybrid remote/onsite, but not 100% remote.

This position will support the Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Navarro employee in a staff augmentation position.

This position does not have relocation assistance or per Diem.

Work is onsite at LANL supporting PF-4 Plutonium mission and facility operations.

Once acclimated and with management approval, can be 50/50 hybrid remote/onsite, but not 100% remote.

Supervises the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a project, or designated portions of a project, for a global business unit.

Plans and directs engineering assignments on the project.

Demonstrates technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.

Requirements

Position typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university;
Specialized courses in relevant general engineering, architectural design or an appropriate engineering discipline, and 12+ years of progressive work experience, including supervision, preferably in project design engineering; may include other relevant types of engineering including startup, field engineering or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants or engineering/construction firms.

*Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.

* Selected candidate MUST to be able to be awarded a Q clearance and be part of the HRP program.
