Project Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Engineering/Chemical Manufacturing/Chemicals
Our client is a global chemical manufacturer.
They have an opening for a Project Engineer who has experience managing projects from concept through completion in the chemical or related industries.
As a Project Engineer, job responsibilities include the following:
- Manage multiple capital projects from concept through completion
- Work with other operations and other departments to identify and execute process improvement projects
- Adhere to safety guidelines, standards, and expectations locally, federally, and company wide
- Identify opportunities for projects
- Work with outside vendors and contractors and cross functionally within the organization to ensure projects are completed on time and under budget.

Job Requirements
As a Project Engineer, job requirements consist of:
- BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in chemical or related industry
- Must have experience managing capital projects from start to finish (at least $500k)
- Experience in a chemical process or PSM regulated facility preferred
- Willingness to travel 20-25% as needed
