– Remote United States Location : USVRTL Business Unit Sector : COR-CORP-FINANCE Opportunity Type : Staff Relocation eligible : No Full time/Part time : Full-Time Project Only Hire : No Visa Sponsorship Available: No Job Summary Responsible for invoicing of assigned projects and ensures contract terms are followed regarding correct billing rates and schedules.

Responsible for intermediate to moderately complex level billings.

This position works closely with Project Accountants and Project Controls personnel.

This position will also answer Project Management questions regarding project billing criteria and invoice drafts.

Works under close supervision.

LI-AS0 Key Responsibilities Invoicing: Leads new or updated process initiatives related to the invoicing process May represent operating division on Corporate initiatives for system upgrades and improvements Ensures billing rates or billing schedules are correctly attached to projectsandmatch contract terms Researches past due invoices and collaborates with project teams on collection activities Responsible for A/R over 90 Days reporting Financial Analysis: Researches and responds to project invoicing related questions as requested Provides basic analysis and recommendations Projects: Complexity and volume is limited to transaction level details and basic projects of standard and non-standard contract terms Compliance: Coordinates research and analysis activities related to invoicing as required in support of client requests and the annual Black and Veatch audit activities May interact directly with auditors as necessary SupervisoryandResource Management: Creates / maintains up-to-date training materials for Project Billing team Presents regular training opportunities for Project Accountants and Project Billing Associates Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvement Primary Internal Clients: Primary internal clients are project managers, project controls, finance managers and/or finance supervisors Management Responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Preferred Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite,Basic Knowledge of BlackandVeatch Systems, Basic Knowledge of percent complete accounting, Basic Technical accounting knowledge, Basic Preferred Non-Technical Skills: Organizing Planning Written Communications Informing Peer Relationships Dealing with Ambiguity Problem Solving Minimum Qualifications _Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience._ _Experience:Typically 2 years’ related experience._ All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
