Project Analyst

Austin Staffing, Inc is now hiring a project-oriented Business Analyst to assist with the scoping, monitoring, and analysis of 20 projects for our client in Medical Device Manufacturing.

This is a 3-month contract and will be at the $30hr rate range.

Candidates experienced in project management, finance, and business analysis should apply.

Primary Job Responsibilities: Maintain the project business case to include estimates for revenue, material expenses, engineering hours, and consulting costs.

These estimates form the basis for each project as they are executed by the site and the project managers Daily, the analyst will work on 2-3 projects, ensuring that the expenses are coded correctly and that any overages are assessed and assigned to the customer or the project.

The analyst would use data aggregation software that quickly assembles reports for projects.

The analyst would review those expenses and work with our project managers and purchasing organizations to ensure projects are monitored correctly Weekly, the analyst will review the status of projects to forecast invoicing of the customer and subsequently the Revenue forecast for the week/month/year Periodically, compare actual revenue and expenses to the business case.

This comparison may trigger project reviews, rescoping, and customer interaction.

The ideal team member would be confident in numeric analysis and presentation across the organization and with customers Monthly, the analyst will aggregate spending across all projects and the site in preparation for monthly financial closing activities The analyst will work closely with Supply Chain to ensure accuracy of account coding on Purchase Orders and inventory management (Raw, WIP, and Finished Goods) You will facilitate communication with the following business units.

Finance Project Management Sales Supply Chain Operations Requirements: BA/BS degree in a business-related field and 5 years of experience Basic Accounting to assist with budget analysis Project Management Skills Highly driven and self-motivated Effective communication across all levels and business units.
