ProFee Hospital Coder

A great client where we’ve placed several people has a new REMOTE opening for an experienced ProFee Physician Coder (Hospital Inpatient/Outpatient). Candidates must have demonstrated experience with assigning ICD-10-CM codes, CPT and E/M codes, modifiers for hospital admissions, follow up days, discharge and observation to be considered.

This is a full-time, direct-hire role; with benefits including a PENSION and a 401k, insurance benefits, continuing education opportunities and they even will pay your AAPC/AHIMA yearly dues.

Our client, a rural integrated health system with multiple locations and more than 40 specialties, is looking for certified medical coders with clinical experience. This organization takes strides to make sure communication is kept up with their remote coders- monthly remote meetings, training, etc.

Job Requirements:

Using your good organizational skills and available reference material (system guidelines, reference books, online encoder references, coding clinic guidelines) you will accurately and timely code charts as assigned. 


Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional coding experience
• Demonstrated evaluation and management (E&M) professional coding experience  
• Demonstrated CPT coding experience
• Experience with modifiers 
• Experience with physician and hospital inpatient and outpatient coding
• CPC, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT certification (must be current)
• HS Diploma, GED, Associates Degree, AHIMA or AAPC certification
