Our location in Westbrook , ME currently has an opportunity for a Production Specialist II.
In this role, you will perform the work required for the assembly of components, devices, and/or the final product depending on the trade assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Works with highly automated, high volume production equipment assembling components, devices, and/or the final product
- Works cross functionally with Maintenance and Engineering as required to accomplish production goals and through-put initiatives
- Improves production process as part of a team (safety, scrap, productivity and downtime)
- Coordinates with Production Team and Maintenance to execute change-overs as dictated by schedule or requested by Management getting Maintenance support as needed.
- Escalates machine and production related issues and concerns proactively to mitigate unplanned downtime
- Responsible for ensuring run settings and production outputs are clearly and accurately recorded through batch records and other quality documentation
- May be subject to call back or extended hours as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required
- Prior Machine Operation experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of GMP and how it applies to specific responsibilities and manufacturing operations.
Preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or understanding of medical device manufacturing.
