Supporting production by monitoring processes, ordering inputs, loading semi-finished materials, inspecting materials, and performing quality inspections to release product.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled which includes working 8 to 12 consecutive hours per day on a weekly rotating shift (i.e.
Week 1: 4pm-midnight, Week 2: 8am-4pm) or a fixed midnight shift (i.e.
midnight-8am), or a fixed 4 Crew shift (i.e.
8am-8pm or 8pm-8am).
Additional information that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Demonstrate safe work behaviors to avoid injury to self and others.
Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (i.e.
eye protection, hearing protection, foot protection).
Tobacco-free/smoke-free: No smoking, electronic cigarettes or chewing tobacco allowed on 3M property including parking lot and outdoor areas.
Closed Campus: Because employee’s scheduled work shift including break time is paid time, 3M Aberdeen is a closed campus for production employees (no leaving the campus during scheduled work shift).
Must be able to use and operate computer to run process operations.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
