Production Associate

Ultralife recruiting in partnership with Adecco for Production Operators.Job Summary:Support the production process throughout various stages.Essential Functions may include, but are not limited to the following:** Read, understand, and follow job instructions to complete tasks* Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety requirements as detailed in the process work instructions* Responsible for quality checks using measurement tools* Use fundamental math skills to perform specific job role* Operate and monitor machines* Make necessary adjustments to product and machine* Label making* Ability to weld and/or solder* Testing as required by operation (ex. SPC/MES, pass/fail, etc.)* Ability to use manual and/or power tooling* Read drawings and/or schematics* Ability to perform wire prep* Accurate recording/maintenance of production records* Multi-task between different job responsibilities* Clean tools, machines, and work area* Other duties as assignedEducation / Training / Skills / Experience:* HS Diploma or GED preferred* Experience in reading, understanding, and following job instructions to complete tasks* Ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail* Ability to work within tight tolerances* Basic math skills (counting, adding, and subtracting) required* Understanding of percentages, and ability to read and convert measurements preferred* Prior experience with measuring equipment preferred (ex. scales and calipers)* 1-2 years experience soldering preferred, IPC Soldering Certification a plus* Prior experience with computer based testing preferred* Prior welding experience preferredPhysical Requirements:* Continuous sitting or standing/walking for majority of shift, depending on operation* Ability to grip at least 25lbs of pressure* Ability to lift and carry up to 35lbs* Ability to pinch at least 5lbs of pressure* Occasional reaching required* Frequent use of hand coordination* Ability to pull up to 15lbs occasionally* Some operations require the frequent use of a foot pedal* May work in dry box or full flow hood* Ability to work within Cathode; dust/air quality and/or subject to high temperature environmentUltralife Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and as such affirms the right of every person to participate in all aspects of employment without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, sex, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic.
