Production Associate 1

We currently have an opening in our Production Department!  

Starting Pay: $14.50 – $16.00/hour, based on experience.  

Schedule:  2ns Shift – 2:30 PM Start Time.  Full Time position, overtime if necessary.?

POSITION SUMMARY: Handling components to create finished goods at the rate required for the completion of the production schedule.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

•  Review daily production schedules and understand work requirements.   
•  Understand specific product specifications and check that finished product meet the specifications set by the QA department. Inform appropriate parties when problems are encountered.   
• Apply appropriate labels to finished packaging and verify code dates.   
• Document the vendor lot number of the bags on the packaging log.
     

REQUIREMENTS/WORK CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a warehouse/production type atmosphere where the temperature is as low as 32 degrees (typically 45-55 degrees). Noise level in the production environment may require the use of hearing protection. Requires standing for long periods of time, frequently twisting, turning, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting material up to 50lbs.
