The Procurement Specialist responsibilities include purchase order creation, order tracking, managing vendor relationships and overseeing order placement (MRO/RAW Material/Corporate Service), as well as identification and implementation of cost saving and operational improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities: Receives, examines and processes purchase requisitions.
Ensuring full compliance with Celanese processes and policies.Executes daily transactions for MRO, Corporate Services and Raw Materials to ensure reliable supply of goods and services.Execution of purchase orders in SAP, Maintenance of purchasing information records, invoice discrepancy resolution, expediting and general purchasingactivitiesManages day-to-day interactions with suppliers and Strategic Sourcing Managers/Leaders to resolve transactional, quality and invoice related issues.Use and coordinate Quality Notifications for issue resolution and process improvementsWork within the team for the success of the objectivesWork on automatization of raw material and MRO ordersDiagnose process gaps and work on process improvements to continue to streamline functions.Identifies saving opportunities, generates savings based on that information Qualifications: High School Diploma or EquivalentDegree a preferredMinimum experience: 5 years of procurement-related or other relevant experience such as purchasing, expediting, or other order entry experience (with a High School diploma or equivalent) 2 years of procurement-related or other relevant experience such as purchasing, expediting, or other order entry experience (with a college degree) SAP experience a plusProblem solving/Analytical skillsGood communication both written and verbalGood interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersStrong computer skills SAP,MS Office SuiteImprovement drivenResults driven setting priorities and juggling multiple tasks and assignmentsDetailed OrientedAbility to learn and adapt to standard and efficient processes withinP2P
