Description

Role and Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Maintain excellent communication between customers, Loan Officers, funders and all other parties involved in each loan transaction to provide a superior level of customer service.

• Provide support to the VP, Regional Processing Manager on performance and development of processing staff

• Communicate effectively to senior management including regularly sharing metrics on team performance against agreed key performance indicators

• Hold on-going work and strategy sessions with team; work with managers to share and facilitate best practices, develops and maintains strong working relationships while working closely with cross-functional partners within the regions

• Develop and monitor internal procedures for managing recurring events and/or issues, training the team and assisting in the implementation

• Work directly with VP, Regional Processing Manger to implement strategies & objectives to ensure efficient pipeline management

• Lead Continuous Improvement, be innovative, generate ideas to improve area of responsibility and lead changes for improving quality, performance rating and departmental competency.

• Directs and provides day to day coordination of operation activities pertaining to loan production.

• Facilitate weekly pipeline calls with sales and processing staff

• Producing Role – will at times carry a small pipeline

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

• Ability to think strategically and deliver executable plans to achieve overall goals
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Knowledge of multiple loan products
• Strong interest in process improvement
• Ability to provide feedback and develop team
• Strong communication skills
• Strong understanding of compliance and risk management

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED, College degree or industry equivalent required

• Minimum of 3-5 years mortgage industry experience

Skills:

• Must demonstrate the ability to lead and work well with others

• Able to handle complex priorities

• Must have strong organizational and time management skills

• Must possess sense of urgency to restrictive time frames and deadlines

• Ability to effectively articulate information and respond to questions from customers, vendors and staff

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Must be able to calculate interests, commissions, percentages, and discounts.

Supervisory Skills: This position has no direct reports.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time such as meetings, driving, sales rallies, etc.

• Must be able to talk and hear, frequent use of hands and arms to reach and occasionally lift or move up

to 25 pounds.

• Specific vision requires close distances, color, and ability to focus.
