Position Overview Avantus Federal is seeking a highly motivated and energetic process improvement subject matter expert to join a Continuous Process Improvement-Business Process Reengineering (CPI-BPR) team supporting a DoD client located in the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.

The candidate must be skilled at interfacing, communicating, and collaborating with personnel ranging from action officer to senior leader levels, and will routinely exercise independent judgement as part of the CPI-BPR team and communicating directly with senior-level customers.

Duties include but are not limited to: Responsibilities Provides technical/functional management direction for problem definition, analysis and requirements development and implementation in the subject matter area of expertise (i.e., process improvement).

Conducts research and analysis of exiting processes and develops associated process maps, flowcharts, diagrams, etc.

Provides recommendations and advice on strategy, analytical approach, improvements, optimization, and related skills to process improvement.

Performs complex tasks; analyzes improvement strategies; designs and performs special studies; and reports results to improve the overall operational and process improvement effectiveness.

Develops a process for soliciting and selecting improvement ideas; scopes, prioritizes, and evaluates improvement ideas.

Ensures continuous improvement activities are linked to the Enterprise and Performance Metric improvements.

Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets technical data and other metrics relating to federal facility management programs.

Drafts presentations in various formats to present results of analyses.

Required Qualifications Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
– US Citizenship Required AvantusClearedJob Bachelors degree At least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to work with minimum supervision and with limited guidance Per Executive Order (E0 14042) proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to your start date.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with the Senate Productivity and Quality Award (SOQA) and/or the Baldrige Excellence Framework is highly desired.

Familiarity with federal facility management programs is desired.

Professional certifications in PMP, Lien Six Sigma, ScrumMaster, Agile, and/or Change Management are desired.
