Process Engineer

The candidate for this position will be responsible for monitoring the process of our systems, including workflows and existing processes. The candidate optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures/processes. The candidate should have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to meet customer expectations
• Working cross-functionally with Research & Development, Production, and Quality in the product development process to facilitate the launch of new products for the company
• Performing continuous risk assessment and cost reduction exercises
• Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes
• Ability to document and follow a process from start to finish
• Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards
• Developing standardized operating procedures and performing QMS document reviews and updates
• Flexible schedule a requirement. Overnight shifts occasional
• Complete projects in both group and individual settings with minimal direction
• Working in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals
• Ability to stand in a manufacturing setting for ≥ 70% of a shift
• Travel: ≤15%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication and group presentation skills
• Strong documentation skills with ability to write and submit reports to management
• Strong analytical capabilities and computer skills (Microsoft suite)
• Detail oriented, well-organized individual
• Hands-on, driven, self-starting individual
